Takopi's Fanzine-pi!
An unnoficial fanzine centering around the anime and manga Takopi's Original Sin by Taizan5!
We'll be creating an A5-sized physical zine with around 35 contributors, including around 20 artists, 5 writers, and 5 merch artists.All proceeds from this zine will go Strong Minds, a charity working to bring mental health care access to people in sub-Saharan African and globally!
Due to the content of Takopi's Original Sin, this fanzine will be 18+. The limit of acceptable content, themes, and gore is confined to what is depicted in the series.

What we're looking for...
This zine will be a collection of art and writing covering the themes, events, and relationships within the series. Happier pieces imagining the characters' lives after the series ended are allowed, as long as they fall in line with the scenes and events shown within the series.We are looking for page art (one full A5 page, two if you request to), spread art (one double A5 page), comics, and short stories (2.5k to 3k words). We are also looking for merch artists to create sticker, keychain, and print designs.All accepted contributors will be given (at least) a free digital copy! And if sales permit, they'll also get a physical copy.
Portfolio Guide
For artists, we are looking for a portfolio with 5 or more pieces that demonstrate your style and ability. At least two of these pieces should be fully rendered with a background. Please submit your portfolio as a Google Drive link or through a similar site. Please don't use excerpts much longer than 4k words. Takopi pieces are not required. We will be judging applicants based on composition, anatomy, coloring, and the general fit for the zine.For writers, we are looking for a portfolio with 3 writing samples that demonstrate your style and ability. At least two of these samples should be full works, not excerpts. Takopi pieces are not required, but we would love to see them. Please submit your portfolio as a Google Doc. We will be judging applicants based on writing mechanics, flow, story structure, and style.For merch artists, we are looking for a portfolio with 5 or more samples of your art that demonstrate your style and ability to create the type of designs you wish to create. For example, if you wish to create sticker designs, include samples of designs that would work as stickers. Please submit your portfolio as a Google Drive link or through a similar sharing site. Takopi pieces are not required. We will be judging applicants based on drawing mechanics and the fit for the type of pieces you wish to create.
Content Restrictions
Any AI content or plagiarism is strictly prohibited.Due to the content of the series, all contributors and mods will be 18+.Content such as blood, mild gore, themes of self-harm, and themes of suicide are allowed within pieces. Just be mindful and sensitive about the topics you're depicting.Extreme gore, nudity, or sexualization are not allowed.The only content that exists within the series that is off-limits within the zine is extremely graphic depictions of suicide. (Ex: the long scene of Shizuka directly hanging herself.) This is mostly due to potential printer restrictions.
